  20. The problem isn't with 14.4 Rockwell's in general- the problem is with RPI 
  21. (Rockwell Protocol Interface) modems. These modems do not have hardware error 
  22. correction and data compression built in- they need seperate software. Now 
  23. with WinRPI (a driver that works with all Win 3.1 comm programs) things are 
  24. better for Win3.1 users- but a WIN95 version has yet to be released.
